BottomAlyx Gorman is a journalist on the sex, sandals and sandwiches beat. Her debut book, All Women Want is out this year with Harper Collins. Through over 130 case studies, “field trips” and expert interviews, the book explores the sex straight women are missing and the pleasure they are prepared to pay for.
In her day job, Alyx is Lifestyle Editor of Guardian Australia and co-author of their weekly pop culture newsletter, Saved for Later. She is a semi-regular guest across ABC’s radio network and her bylines have appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, the Sydney Morning Herald, Time Out and more. She spends her spare time staring quietly at walls, brushing her dog and trying to have fun at parties.
Newcastle Writers Festival would like to acknowledge the Awabakal and Worimi peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the festival takes place, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and extend this respect to all First Nations people attending our festival.
