Ellen’s writing speaks of a diverse range of struggles. Raised in a family of step-siblings and a procession of stepmothers, Ellen soon learnt the art of resilience and the importance of finding her own voice in the world.

Ellen’s journey as a poet began at an early age, when she discovered the power of words to heal and transform.
Ellen’s poetry is a tribute to the beauty and complexity of the human spirit inspired by nature, relationships, and the unanswered questions around being. Ellen uses language to align the uncertainties of daily life. Delving around wires of disconnect, her words find strength from wherever she calls home at the time.
