Dr Faye Neilson is the Coordinator Arts and Culture for Singleton Council and oversees the operations of the Singleton Arts + Cultural Centre. The Centre hosted an exhibition of ‘Spirit of Place’ from June to September 2023, which included educational school visits and tours with Uncle Warren Taggart.

Festival Events

Newcastle Writers Festival would like to acknowledge the Awabakal and Worimi peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the festival takes place, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community.
