BottomMatt Bevan is writer and presenter of the ABC News narrative news podcast If You’re Listening. The show, which began in 2018, has now been expanded into a Walkley Award-nominated YouTube and TV series. In 2022 he was named as the Australian podcast host or presenter of the year by Radio Today. From 2016-2021 he was newsreader for Radio National Breakfast.
He was born in Newcastle and began his career at the local ABC Newcastle radio station. He lives in Lake Macquarie with his wife Rachel and four children.
