Pearl Nunn
Dr Pearl Nunn (she/her) recently completed a PhD in History entitled “Visible and Vocal: Black Women in Eighteenth Century Britain, c.1707-1834”. Pearl is also a musician, youth worker and theatre director. Her next play, entitled Morning Sacrifice by Dymphna Cusack, was based on the playwright’s experiences teaching at Newcastle Girls High in the 1930s and is playing at Newcastle Theatre Company from May 3rd-17th 2025.
