As a veteran graphic designer, Kristy Coady is no stranger to a creative life well lived. At eight months pregnant and apparently looking for a little more chaos in her life, she started Swell Magazine with her sister Bec. It is a local publication focused on local people doing amazing local things and shining a light on the unsung heroes of the Hunter and surrounds. Although originally from Gunnedah, Kristy had fallen head over heels for Novocastrians and local stories.
