Many will recognise Karen Eastwood from her involvement with Newcastle Micro Theatre or perhaps her various jobs with Newcastle Library. Karen hosts the library’s podcast Chats with Fabulous Children’s Authors and Illustrators. She has also interviewed Sarah Bailey and Michelle de Kretser for Your Summer Reads podcast and hosts author talks with a variety of writers from Meg Mason to local crime writer Kelli Hawkins. Karen is a writer and storyteller and facilitates creative workshops through her storytelling business Story Spot.
