Slipping Through Time

Courtney Collins and Jock Serong play with the question ‘What if?’ in their latest novels. In Bird, the 14-year-old protagonist is seemingly living two parallel lives: one in a Himalayan village at some point in the past, and the other in modern-day Darwin. Cherrywood is a classic ghost story with a hint of magical realism, set between Melbourne and Edinburgh, moving between the 1910s and the 1990s. The authors speak with Amy Sambrooke about time-slipping, sliding doors, and the power of past lives.

This event is free; no bookings required.
