BOOKED OUT Workshop: Poetry with Rico Craig
This world is full of epic, otherworldly moments; clouds shifting, the hunt for new earrings, people changing car tyres. These everyday moments give poetry its texture and provide poets with an endless seam of inspiration for their writing. In this workshop we’ll sift through the seemingly mundane, searching for the experiences we can expand to epic significance. We’ll bring our poetic vision to bear on the ordinary and look at the way our own inclination toward the poetic can be used to expand a reader’s perception of the worlds we share in our poetry.
There will be writing exercises in this workshop, so bring something to write on – either a laptop or paper.
Tickets $120.00. Limited to 15 places. Snacks provided.
Tickets now sold out for this session.
