Festival book donation drive
We will be holding a book drive during the festival weekend on April 2 and 3 to help flood-affected libraries in northern NSW rebuild their collections. Please drop off your new or near-new books at the information table in Wheeler Place, adjacent to the Civic Theatre, from 9.30am to 4.00pm. We will ensure your books are packed and sent to Lismore.
- Adult fiction
- Adult and junior nonfiction, including books on parenting topics
- Junior and Young Adult fiction
- Children’s picture books
- Children’s DVDs
- Jigsaws (no missing pieces
- Audio books
Also consider buying and donating a new book from our festival bookshop, which is managed by MacLean’s Booksellers and located on the lower ground floor of Newcastle City Hall.
